Al Kawakib
Al-Kawakib (E-ISSN: 2746-4997) is a peer-reviewed journal in Islamic studies published biannually, in June and December, by the Department of Islamic Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Padang, since 2020. The journal publishes original research articles, based on either library or field research, in the broad field of Islamic studies.Al-Kawakib (E-ISSN: 2746-4997) is a peer-reviewed journal in Islamic studies published biannually, in June and December, by the Department of Islamic Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Padang, since 2020. The journal publishes original research articles, based on either library or field research, in the broad field of Islamic studies.
The journal promotes multidisciplinary approaches to the study of Islam and Muslim societies and focuses on seven principal areas: Islamic Education; the Qur’an and Hadith; Islamic Law; Islamic Theology (Kalam); Islamic Philosophy; Islamic Mysticism (Tasawwuf); and Islamic Communication and Propagation (Dakwah). All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
Based on the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Number 177/E/KPT/2024, concerning the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals for the 2024, Al-Kawakib: Journal of Islamic Studies has been accredited SINTA 3. Al-Kawakib Journal, in collaboration with the DPP of Association of Islamic Religious Education Lecturers (ADPISI) and the DPP of Association of Islamic Religious Education Study Programs (APPKI).
Al-Kawakib welcomes contributions employing multidisciplinary perspectives on these themes. Scholars concerned with Islam and its manifestations across Muslim societies and throughout history are invited to submit their work to this open-access journal. All articles published in Al-Kawakib are assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
